Conduct data preparation, mining, and validation for model portfolio. Develop and maintain quantitative models for strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio optimization, and risk-adjusted return analysis. Support creation of model portfolios used by financial advisors across client segments, and backtest portfolio strategies, evaluate performance, and provide guidance on implementation. Conduct research on market anomalies, investment factors (value, momentum, quality, etc.), and behavioral finance principles applicable to wealth clients. Analyze historical returns and volatility patterns to improve asset allocation strategies and financial planning tools.
Build risk models using factor-based, Monte Carlo, and scenario analysis frameworks.
Monitor and report on portfolio risk exposures including tracking error, value-at-risk (VaR), drawdown, and sensitivity to macro variables. Integrate stress testing and downside risk metrics into portfolio construction processes. Translate complex quantitative concepts into tools and narratives that financial advisors can use with clients.

- Manage client relationships by offering investment services and advice to high-net-worth individuals
- Collaborate on client servicing and new business pitches by understanding prospective client needs, risk tolerance and objectives; Evaluate and inform portfolio structure, risk and relative value opportunities
- Hold periodic client service meetings, supported by members of the firm’s research team as needed, to provide insight into market and investment performance and respond to any changes in client circumstance
- Manage investment services by planning, delivery, and regular review with clients; Maintain client satisfaction and actively assist in the wealth management business
- Proactively communicate with clients about current conditions in the financial markets and makes necessary adjustments to their investment strategies. Review asset management and Brokerage statements with clients. Communicate strategic shifts in the marketplace.
- Analyze financial needs of clients and monitor their ongoing financial and personal circumstances to make adjustments or take action accordingly.
- Maintain all appropriate training and continuing education requirements for licenses and certifications.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts degree
- The right candidate will have 7 -10 years of experience working at a brokerage/wire house firm, investment or wealth management company, or registered investment advisory Firm.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience with Microsoft Office software and financial database application.
